My most
favorite sweet thing in the world is Gelato, why? Because it's probably the
best ice cream you will ever have! When I had my first taste of Gelato was on
my graduation trip to Europe. We stopped first in Spain and you couldn't
believe the freshness and deliciousness of this ice cream. Gelato is a creamy italian ice cream made from fresh milk, cream, and fruit. Ice cream in America is just thick cream that is really just to sweet and doesn't even taste good to me anymore after i've had gelato. The light airiness and freshness of it is what the best part is, plus it's not super sweet like most ice cream that just gives headaches and stomach pains after.
My favorite flavors are strawberry, kiwi, and coconut,.
If you every want to get something kinda close to this you'll have to go to Rita's on 83rd and union hills by the big walmart!!
While I will eat ice cream or gelato, gelato gets the upper hand with presentation since a number of establishments will usually create small works of art with the fruit or sweet that they used within the mixture when presenting it inside the shops. I love to see how they show off what flavor is what when they do this for the individual flavors.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever been to Lombardo's Gelato inside Metro Mall? That one is pretty close to the campus even, but if you are from the Union Hills area I would guess that one would be closer to you in particular instead.
